About Me

Hi, I’m Gerardo Catalas. I am currently training as a backend developer, with hands-on experience in C# (.NET) and SQL Server, and expanding my knowledge in technologies such as Django and Angular.

My interest in technology started in a self-taught way, experimenting with computers, system configurations, and basic web development. During those years, I worked on installing and maintaining systems, assembling PCs, configuring local networks, and building websites and forums, which allowed me to develop a strong technical foundation through hands-on experience.

Over time, I incorporated more formal tools through academic studies and training programs, and consolidated that foundation during my internship, where I worked on developing business logic in C# within a professional environment.

In addition to my technical background, I have also had experience in different fields, including customer-facing roles and managing my own small business. These experiences helped me develop skills such as communication, organization, and adaptability to different work environments.

Today, I am focused on continuing to grow as a backend developer, strengthening my skills and building projects that allow me to apply what I’ve learned in real-world scenarios.
